New for 2020 - dust off your lederhosen and join us for an Oktoberfest event like no other!

Welcome to Thorpe Park's first ever Oktoberfest!

Let's face it, it's been a tough year for everyone so far - so it's time to bring some fun back!  Why not dig out those Lederhosen and experience the ultimate day out at Thorpe Park Resort!  We've merged the sights and sounds of an authentic German Oktoberfest event together with our world class theme park thrills to create an Oktoberfest like no other!  

Oktoberfest runs every day until 4th October 2020.  Tickets are available online from £39 but we've limited the number of guests each day to help keep everyone as safe as possible, so book now to avoid disappointment!

What's different about an Oktoberfest day out at Thorpe Park?

A visit to Thorpe Park during Oktoberfest won't be like any visit you've had before!  As well as our record breaking thrill rides, you can experience some Bavarian-inspired delights. We’ve even gone so far as to create an Island Festival Centre just for this event! With new market stalls and a stage, the Island Festival Centre can be found in The Dock Yard. 

From roaming entertainment and specialist bands through to delicious new food and drink options across the park, Oktoberfest at Thorpe Park is an event like no other.  Adding to the authentic atmosphere are some Bavarian-themed market stalls so you can treat yourself or friends to some quirky treats!  There's also some limited edition merchandise ranges available in our retail outlets so you can even take a piece of Oktoberfest home with you!

Oktoberfest Food and Drink

We’ve gone all out to bring an authentic atmosphere across the park and what better way to do it than with some brand-new food & drink additions exclusively available during Oktoberfest!  

Infinity Bar & Kitchen* is serving traditional delicacies including Bratwirst, Schnitzels (vegan option available too!) followed by a classic Black Forest Gateau.  

If that doesn't take your fancy then why not try The Bavarian’ Dirty Dog, available from both Wilderness Bar & Kitchen (temporarily known as Bavarian Bar & Kitchen!) and Colossus Hotdogs - loaded with crispy onions, curry sauce and nacho cheese in a pretzel bun this is one not to miss!

More of a pizza person?  Don't worry, Inferno’s Pizza Pasta Restaurant has you covered with ...Currywurst Pizza. Yes - Currywurst Pizza and trust us, it’s a match made in heaven. You won't believe it till you try it!

Thirsty after all that? Why not wash it down with a Stein of authentic German beer - Spaten, or a bottle of Beck's from The Beer Bar (Beck's Blue is also available for those looking for a non-alcoholic option), before finishing it off with a dessert that’ll need to go straight onto your Instagram stories! Nitrogenie are offering Salted Caramel Pretzel-Mallow ice cream (you had us at salted caramel!) whilst Donut Factory have added a Black Forest Donut Sundae. Is anyone else’s mouth watering yet? 

* Infinity Bar & Kitchen serves lunch from 12-3.30, whilst the dinner menu begins from 5pm - and is exclusively available for our Thorpe Shark Cabin guests.

Oktoberfest Steins & Souvenirs

Your Oktoberfest experience wouldn't be complete without a Stein or Bavarian hat to take home afterwards.  

Our Souvenir Steins can be purchased for £4, or £8 including a beer fill at the point of purchase.  Refills are then available during your visit with a 25p saving per drink on our draught beer and cider.

Our Bavarian themed German hats can be purchased for £4 each, or team up with your friends and buy 3 for £10.  These can be purchased from the Megastore, or from our retail barrows around the park.

When is Oktoberfest running?

Our Oktoberfest event runs until 4th October 2020.  Visit Sunday - Thursday when the park is open 10am - 5pm, or alternatively visit on a Friday or Saturday when the park is open 10am - 8pm. 

What Oktoberfest music will be playing?

Our Oktoberfest experience is headlined by two bands - 

The Furchtar Band - an entertaining parody band who can be found roaming The Festival Centre from noon till park close every day of the week.

The London Street Band - an amazing live 'Oompah' band who perform 5pm-8pm on Friday's and Saturday's.

You'll also hear a brand new Oktoberfest soundtrack across the park throughout the day, in addition to Bavarian inspired spins of our ride announcements.  Don't forget to yodel if you want to go faster!

When should I visit Oktoberfest?

We recommend visiting Monday - Thursday if you can because the queues are likely to be shorter. Don't worry if you can only make it on the weekend though, because we've extended our opening times on Friday's and Saturday's to 8pm so you can make the most of your day out.
