With over 25 rides and attractions within 20 miles of Central London, Thorpe Park, the UK’s most thrilling theme park is a brilliant location for filming and photography. We welcome broadcast-related inquiries, for further information, please contact our Press Office.

Broadcast Filming and Photography Requests 

• Eligibility and Review Process: Thorpe Park considers filming and photography requests for broadcast use only, each application is assessed on an individual basis  
• Availability: Filming and photography can be accommodated between March and November, during our open season
• On-Ride Filming: We are happy to consider filming on our rides; this requires a minimum of 10 working days notice and is subject to our Health & Safety protocols. Please note, on-ride filming must occur outside of operating hours and requires: 
  • A pre-site visit with a Press Office representative 
  • Completion of Health & Safety forms 
  • Submission of Public Liability Insurance, Risk Assessment and a camera use method statement. Other documentation may be requested
• Enquiry Details: Broadcast channels or production houses interested in filming should email us with the following details: 
  • Your name and contact information 
  • The show’s title and intended air date 
  • Preferred filming date/s 
  • Specifics on any on-ride filming desires 

Restrictions for Guests 

• Personal Filming Devices: Guests are not permitted to use Go-Pros, cameras, meta glasses, mobiles or other recording devices to take photos or videos onboard any of our rides. All loose items, including these devices, must be stored in the lockers provided. Should you require meta glasses for accessibility and/or vision aid purposes, you are permitted to ride with these provided you do not film. Please inform a member of our attractions team of this and they will permit you to ride.
• Social Media and YouTube: Filming for personal use, including but not limited to content for social media platforms including YouTube channels, is strictly prohibited
