On Saturday 24th August and Saturday 31st August, the UK’s most thrilling theme park, Thorpe Park, is extending its opening hours until 9 p.m. to bring you SUNSET RIDES! Get ready to soar through the sky on Thorpe Park’s breathtaking rides, bathed in the glow of golden hour.  

Experience the ultimate rush on the golden Goddess Hyperia*, the UK’s tallest, fastest and most weightless rollercoaster. Hyperia already offers an unparalleled ride, but now you can feel the wind in your hair as you reach speeds of over 80mph, experience weightlessness like never before as you soar through the Fearless Valley and reach record-breaking heights of 236ft, with a stunning summer sunset as the backdrop to the spectacular views of Thorpe Park and beyond. Sunset rides create the chance for a glistening golden moment on Hyperia and to make magical memories you'll cherish forever! 

Once you’ve found your fearless on Hyperia, take a stroll to Big Easy Boulevard and discover a world of fun, thrills and adventure for the whole family to enjoy. Test your mettle on Thorpe Park’s thrilling rollercoasters such Stealth, The Swarm and SAW – The Ride, or chase the summer evening sun on their exhilarating rides such as the spinning sensation, Zodiac, and giant speed swing, Rush.

Getting to Thorpe Park  

Thorpe Park, Staines Road, Chertsey, Surrey, KT16 8PN  

Train: Staines Station is just 32 minutes direct from London Waterloo   

Bus: On open days a shuttle bus runs between Staines Station and Thorpe Park every 15 minutes. Alternatively, both the 950 and 951 buses get you right up to the gates.
